Here is a few pics of my most recent build. The circle city club has had a lot of fish room builds in the last few months. I took advantage of a friend having a rig already setup to drill tanks. The System is 2 20highs. top tank is drilled on both sides and the stand is drilled as wel. The top tank lid is two glass piece I had cut so they fit flush with the rim which keeps a tight seal. There is a ball valve installed inside the tank to control flow. Thanks for looking. -Bradley

Looks cool. It looks like an aquaponic setup like for growing lettuce etc...
It seems like you have warm weather too :)
I'll pull my 29g outside when spring comes around.

yeah the weather was almost 60 that day! this is pretty much like a true hydroponic system(which I've always wanted to try). I tore my fish room down when we moved a few months ago and have tons of hardware and tanks laying around. I spent $5 on this build so I call it a WIN. Now I just need to track down some odd ball crypts and try to get them to flower...

Its funny that I used to be all about breeding fish and recently I've gotten more into the design and engineering of the systems instead of the live stock. We've had quite a few folks in our club building fish rooms and doing all kinds of auto water changers and rack systems. There arent that many fish that tickle my fancy right now and the ones that do are too expensive.

Here are few shots of my last rack build. The tanks are drilled and on a central system. The sump is drilled and hooked up a faucet. When the water was turned on for 15 minutes it changed about 50% of the water.
